Diego Armando Maradona usually known as Diego Maradona was born on the 30th of October, 1960 in the city of Argentina, Lanus. Maradona started his Club career with Argentinos Junior in 1976. He played 5 seasons with them and scored 116 goals in just 166 appearances. He joined Boca Junior in 1981 and played 1 season with them after he joined Barcelona for 2 years. In 1984, Maradona joined Napoli and played for 7 years with them. In the last 6 years of his career, he played with Sevilla, Newell’s Old Boys, and Boca Junior again.

Maradona started his international career in 1977 and played 17 years with his National Team. He played 91 matches with Argentina and scored 34 goals with them. Maradona won the 1986 FIFA World Cup for his country in which he played the most important role. He won the 1986 FIFA World Cup Golden Ball. He scored 2nd most goals in that tournament and had the most assists in the competition. He scored the “Goal of the Century” and FIFA’s most important goal ever ” Hand of GOD ” goal in the same tournament.

Maradona didn’t get much success as a manager. He also managed Argentina in the 2008-2010 period. He managed several Argentina and UAE Clubs.
